How to keep up with Formnext 2021 with 3D Printing Industry livestreams

The 2021 edition of the 3D printing industry’s leading European trade show Formnext gets underway next week between 16-19 November in Frankfurt.

To ensure that those who cannot attend in person do not miss out on the key takeaways and discussions had on the trade show floor, 3D Printing Industry will be livestreaming on the first three days of the event via our YouTube channel

From 16-18 November, we will be inviting key exhibitors, industry leaders and experts at the show to share the latest developments, trends and insights from across the additive manufacturing sector. Through the livestreams, our audience will be able to keep abreast of the latest 3D printing news, launches, and developments straight from the trade show floor, no matter where they are in the world.

The livestreams will be broadcast via our YouTube channel, so make sure to subscribe to receive notifications when we are live. You can also join in the Formnext discussion via the livestream chat.

Formnext 2021

After nearly two years of events taking place digitally in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Formnext 2021 is following in the footsteps of several other international events and returning to an in-person format for this year.

The event, organized by Mesago Messe Frankfurt, will still retain a digital element for those who cannot attend in-person due to travel restrictions, which will take place from 30th November to 1st December under the name Formnext Digital Days.

Last year’s Formnext went completely digital between 10-12 November in the form of Formnext Connect, with the online event deemed a success by the organizer. More than 8,541 attendees participated in the virtual show, while some 45,000 spectators tuned into the stage events and expert sessions.

Next week, Formnext 2021 will host more than 600 exhibitors hailing from 35 nations, including leading 3D printing firms 3D Systems, HP, Desktop Metal, Materialise, Voxeljet, Stratasys, ExOne among many others.

The trade show will also put on an extensive and diverse program of supporting events, including its annual Start-Up Challenge awards ceremony, the Purmundus Challenge, Discover3Dprinting seminars, ASTM Standards Forum, and four-day TCT Conference.

There have already been a plethora of launch previews in the lead-up to the show, ranging from new technologies, materials and systems through to innovations in the process chain, with more expected to be announced in the coming days.

“The amazing response we have seen from exhibitors and the AM industry as a whole, including those based outside of Germany, underscores the importance of Formnext as the leading international event in this sector and the strong appetite for coming together and interacting in person once again,” said Sascha F. Wenzler, Formnect Vice President at Mesago Messe Frankfurt. “It also demonstrates that this vibrant, in-person exhibition is crucial to a highly innovative industry like ours as a platform for showcasing innovations and discussing them with international industry professionals.

“It is the perfect springboard for getting future-oriented, sustainable technological developments off the ground.”
