Recently, Afinia 3D’s H800 3D Printer won the RAPID 2015 Exhibitor Innovation Award, which was selected by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the Rapid Technologies and Additive Manufacturing (RTAM) Commitee. This is a big deal for Afinia 3D, a division of Microboards Technology LLC, who were previously known for taking the lead in specialized printing solutions such as disc duplication and labeling. Now all eyes are on Afinia, and their high performance and user-friendly machine.

The build area of the the H800 Printer is five times larger than that of the Afinia H480. The printer also includes a variety of innovative, user-friendly features like one button filament changing, ultra-fine 100-micron print resolution, a HEPA filtration system, and fully-automated leveling and height sensing. The Afinia H800’s ample features belie its user-friendliness, as the printer is one hundred percent ready to go out of the box with easy to install software for both PC and Mac.
