EnvisionTEC to Showcase New 3D Printer, Materials, and Software at EuroMold 2014

Among the number of exciting 3D printing releases to take place at EuroMold this week are some new products from EnvisionTEC, makers of industrial DLP 3D printers.  At the machine tool conference in Frankfurt, EnvisionTEC will be showcasing a brand new 3D printing system, along with a range of new materials, and an update to their Perfactory 3D printing software.

The biggest announcement from EnvisionTEC is the launch of a new, large-scaled 3D printing system called the Xtreme® 3SP.  To be unveiled at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow in Hall 11.0 at Stand C140, the Xtreme 3SP acts as a mid-range printer in the company’s large-frame line.  Slightly smaller than their previous Xede 3SP printer, the Xtreme offers a build volume of 10″ x 15″ x 13″ and high-speed, high-resolution 3D printing, using EnvisionTEC’s Scan, Spin, and Selectively Photocure (3SP) technology.

In addition to their new printer and materials, the company will also be showcasing their Perfactory® 3.0 software at EuroMold.  The software upgrade should show better usability and functionality, including automatic support generation, a refined part orientation gimbal, as well as enhanced memory saving capabilities.

EnvisionTEC CEO, Al Siblani, said of the new releases, “We are pleased to bring our newest solutions to share at EuroMold. EnvisionTEC has been working hard to provide substantial additions to our lineup that will greatly improve our customers’ 3D printing capabilities and follow through with our value proposition of functionality and high surface quality without sacrificing speed.”

To be honest, I’m a little jealous of Davide and Rachel right now, as they’ll get to see these products, along with all of the new offerings from 3D printer manufacturers, at EuroMold this week.  If you’re going, say to “Hi” to them for me and send me some SuperFlex stuff to show off to my friends.
