Bio3D Technologies Pte Ltd and 3D Matters Pte Ltd. state a strong belief that 3D printing of living cells and biological materials – otherwise known as bioprinting – will bring great potential applications for medical and life sciences industry research, and allow patient and customer specific solutions in but a fraction of the time and cost. The companies are now working together to present the first ever Singaporean bio-printing and medical 3D printing event, to be held on the sixth of August.
Bio3D Technologies was the first bio-printing company to be incepted in Singapore. Their stated aim is to offer affordable and reliable bio printing and micro-printing technologies to every researcher and engineer. 3D Matters is a company local to Singapore that provides a range of 3D printing solutions to industry and the general public, with an aim to be a one-stop solution provider: 3D printed unique models, customised items, and prototypes created by Computer Aided Design as required by the engineering, design and medical industries.
The objective of the event is to create awareness of 3D printing for applications in the medical industry and raise the profile of bio-printing to coincide with the launch of Singapore’s very first bio-printer, the Bio3D Life Printer X.
