Although the deadline is fast approaching, it is not too late to apply for an internship in the 3D printing sector. The deadline for the New York unpaid internship is November 15. The application has been issued by a DIY startup Morphi. The internship seeks individuals looking for college credit and offers some level of flexibility. It would behoove those interested to check the requirements and responsibilities before applying at the click of a button.
The New York start-up gladly accepts people looking for experience with 3D modeling, printing, DIY electronics, product design and design education. Lasting for 12 weeks with a minimum requirement of 15 hours per week, the interns may participate remotely, but will maintain close supervision and have weekly check-ins. Because it is unpaid, it is important to note that the internship’s purpose is educational. Morphi happens to be involved in the Maker movement and recently participated in the World Maker Faire in NY and Maker Faire Rome.
Before applying, it must be noted that only students currently enrolled in an educational institution studying art, design, architecture, computer science, or engineering will be considered.
