Airwolf 3D and Tesla Motors to Appear at InnovateOC

Erick Wolf, founder of Airwolf 3D, started selling 3D printers out of his Orange County garage back in 2012, and now he runs a very successful, internationally recognized 3D printing company. How did he do it? You can ask him yourself at the launch of InnovateOC on Thursday, April 16th from 6:00-9:00 p.m in Costa Mesa, CA.

Both Airwolf 3D and TESLA Motors will be putting on a mini tech expo for all in attendance to inspire the innovative Orange County start-ups of tomorrow. The event is expected to attract hundreds of people from Orange County’s entrepreneurial, academic, government, and tech communities.

InnovateOC-Building

All of this activity is in honor of the launch of Innovate OC, a “one-stop hub and ecosystem dedicated to taking startup companies to their next level of development”, according to InnovateOC’s website. Founded by Cloudify president Evan Jafa, the office facility in Costa Mesa, CA offers all the amenities a start-up needs to get their business off the ground. These benefits include basic high-speed wireless, as well as office and conference space and access to an in-house legal team and potential investors. InnovateOC also promises exciting networking events, like the launch itself, that allow start-ups to mingle with successful and cutting edge companies like Airwolf 3D and TESLA Motors.

InnovateOC shares the same basic mission statement as several shared office spaces that have popped up in cities around the country in recent years, like NYC’s WeWork. These shared spaces aim at helping small businesses and start-ups get everything they need in an office at a price they can afford. Who knows? With Airwolf 3D and TESLA Motors at their launch, let’s hope that InnovateOC really does attract the innovative, techy start-ups they are courting.
