I thought that, after news of Threeding’s many 3D printable Greek artifacts that I would share a free 3D printable work of art, as the replicas on the Threeding site will most likely exceed the budgets of most folks. There are, of course, plenty of repositories for free 3D printable objects, such as MyMiniFactory and Thingiverse, that you can spend the weekend perusing for historical content. Below, you’ll find a printable version of the Triumphe of the Republic in Paris. This printable model was created by Sketchfab user HoangHiepVu, who simplified their high-quality scan of the sculpture so that it could be 3D printed. Download and print away for free! Or slap on your Google Cardboard and view it in VR.
