Global 3D Printing Day is Tomorrow!

While it’s been around for at least a few years, the idea of Global 3D Printing Day hasn’t quite picked up steam, reflecting the niche characteristic of our industry.  3D Hubs, however, wants to use its community of almost 25,000 3D printer users to unite the industry around December 3rd (3D) and really establish the day as something 3D printing enthusiasts can get behind.

3D Hubs Global 3DPrintingDayWorldwide, businesses and Makers will likely be sharing their 3D printing-related projects and events on social media with the hashtag #3DPrintingDay.  3D Hubs will be doing its part by opening up 400 3D printing locations across the world to the public eye, so that the 3D printing community can only grow larger. That’s a massive effort and one that 3D Hubs proper and 3D hubs, more generally, should be excited about.

A complete list of all of the participating hubs and cities can be found here, while an interactive map of those locations can be found here. If you’ll be participating in Global 3D Printing Day, you can say you’re attending on this Facebook event page and be sure to use the #3DPrintingDay with anything you share online to celebrate, as part of an effort to get the topic to trend on Twitter. Have fun and have a happy #3DPrintingDay!
