3D Printing Kids Camp In the US This Summer

A number of cities in the United States are to host a series exciting 3D printing opportunities over the next couple of months — the GoEngineer Kids Camps. The camp is a free event for kids and teens aged from ten to eighteen years old. Attendees of the GoEngineer Kids Camp will have the exciting opportunity to engage in a basic introduction to computer aided design with SolidWorks, and three dimensional printing with Stratasys 3D printers. The camp aims to act as a foundation stone in preparation for a future career in the field of advanced manufacturing. The camps are also a great day out for some techno-fun and a chance to check out the amazing world of 3D printing that has captured so many headlines over the past few years.

For example, in the Duncan area, hosting and local marketing is being provided by the Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation as part of the Duncan, Oklahoma based “Dream It! Do It!” culture program. “Dream It! Do It!” is a career pathway associated with the Manufacturing Institute and the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).The Duncan camp will be taught by Mr. Tandy Banks, an Elite Applications Engineer for GoEngineer.
