By the end of this month, leading industrial 3D printer manufacturer, voxeljet, will be adding a UK-based 3D printing service to its extending portfolio. Voxeljet is taking over the British service provider Global TCT in a dedicated bid to increase its presence in the important UK market. Global TCT was originally founded by its managing director Kevin Smith and the company offers a full 3D printing service, that ranges from 3D scanning and 3D print services to reverse engineering and metal finishing.
According to voxeljet’s COO, Rudolf Franz: “We view the take-over of Global TCT as an important step in expanding our UK business. The combination of Global TCT’s profound market knowledge and the performance of our service centre, which is one of Europe’s largest operations for the on-demand production of sand and plastic moulds, will provide voxeljet with an excellent position in the fast-growing British market. British customers can look forward to even better customer orientation with a complete and integrated machinery and service offering.”
