With just under four weeks to go until the Asia-Pacific edition of the Inside 3D Printing event in Sinagpore, the organisers are delighted to confirm the final programme line-up.
Headlining the event on each day will be individuals central to the 3D printing sector to provide insight and set up the day of presentations ahead.
On the morning of the first day, on October 1st, the Keynote presentation will be given by 3D Systems’ CEO, Avi Reichental. Heading up 3D Systems in his own, inimitable and hands-on way Avi will deliver a presentation entitled “Manufacturing The Future.” Touching on what has gone before in the 3D printing industry, this Keynote is designed primarily to point to the future, in terms of applications that include education, patient-specific medical devices and the ability to disrupt product design and manufacturing.
Education is a key driver for 3D Systems, with a dedicated mission to make 3D printing available to youngsters around the world, providing them with tomorrow’s skills today. Reichental will also explore the power and potential of 3D printing as a local, sustainable alternative to manufacture our future.
Representing Stratasys, the other 3D printing industry giant, will be Jonathan Jaglom, the company’s General Manager for Asia Pacific & Japan. With specific insight into 3D printing applications and developments in the region, Jonathan’s presentation opening the 2nd day of the event, entitled “3D Printing – The Future is Now” will demonstrate how Asia is unleashing its creativity tremendously. He will go on to share insights about the trends of 3D printing in areas of mass customization, rapid prototyping, direct digital manufacturing, and demonstrate how Stratasys is helping customers to achieve business value and drive innovation throughout the region.
And finally, but by no means least, industry veteran Terry Wohlers, Principal Consultant and President at his own firm, Wohlers Associates, will provide a
“Global Market Update.” Terry’s experience over the years has seen him Keynote some of the most prestigious events focused on additive technologies. Based on his extensive knowledge and experience since the earliest technology platforms emerged, Terry will provide insight into the key growth areas for 3D printing in the coming years.
