Makerbot Webinar

Anthony Moschella, Makerbot’s Director of Product, will be hosting the company’s first webinar, titled ‘How to Use Desktop 3D Printers to Dramatically Reduce Product Design & Development Costs’ this Wednesday, May 22, at 12:00 PM ET. Scheduled to last 45 minutes the webinar aims to provide an introduction to the MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer and provide information on how it can dramatically reduce the time and cost of rapid prototyping, model making, product design, and concept development.

The webinar will also impart information about the properties of PLA filament, the material that the Rep 2 processes and a high detail, high strength bio plastic that can render models in great detail.

Aimed at designers and engineers as well as Inventors, Entrepreneurs and Technology Educators will provide a step-by-step introduction to the desktop 3D printing process — starting with a CAD file and ending with a printed part.
