Since 3DPrintingIndustry.com launched just three months ago, the response and support that we have had has been truly amazing and gratifying. The aim of this global news site is to provide a single source of information for anyone — new or old — that is interested in 3D printing.
The great team of writers we are building here report on all of the latest industry news, emerging and novel applications at every level, the latest 3D printers to be launched for maker and industrial applications as well as a wide range of opinions and commentary in informal blog posts and more formal articles from guest authors.
As we continue to develop the site we are proactively talking with industry leaders — the people spearheading some of the most exciting tech companies in the world — and we have invited some of them to share their insights here on 3DPI with our ever-growing audience. The result is this Executive Interview Series, which is intended to reveal something of the people leading the 3D printing sector, the companies they run and their wider views of the whole 3D printing sector.
Starting with Abe Reichental, CEO of 3D Systems and Bre Pettis, CEO of Makerbot; the series will continue over the coming weeks and months, with a further five CEO’s already lined up ‘to take the chair’, so to speak.
