AIO Robotics Enters Chinese Market with China’s Largest Machine Tool Manufacturer

LOS ANGELES, CA – MAY 19, 2016

AIO Robotics begins Chinese market trial with Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (SMTCL), the world’s largest machine tool manufacturer to launch the Zeus 3D printer in China. The Zeus 3D Printer is known for making 3D scanning and printing easy to use for schools, job shops, libraries, and consumers.

“This is the smartest 3D Printer on the market, the first to have an integrated app store environment, internet connected, with real-time data monitoring and troubleshooting,” said Kai Chang AIO Robotics’ CTO. The Zeus 3D Printer is the only true plug-and-play 3D printer. It is stand-alone which requires no external computer. “Everything you need from idea to physical object is in the box. The touchscreen makes using it a breeze.”

China’s leading machine tool manufacturer, SMTCL launched its ground-breaking “i5” intelligent CNC control and Smart Factory platform in late 2014. “As a champion of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing, we are excited to include additive manufacturing in our product portfolio. The Zeus’ holistic approach is very similar to our growing i5 ecosystem. China is ready for a true pro-sumer 3d printing platform and the Zeus is outstanding” said Andrew Heath, SMTCL’s International Business GM.

“SMTCL has a strong network of the best sales and service professionals locally in China and worldwide. We’re confident SMTCL will provide excellent service and resources for customers,” said Lucas Lok, AIO Robotics’ COO. “The Zeus is used for education, and rapid prototyping of objects that eventually become manufactured into end products, so the partnership is a natural fit, streamlining the process from idea to end product.” AIO Robotics introduced industry first report button, focused on providing customers with fast, excellent support.
SMTCL prides itself on giving back to the local community in Liaoning. With Zeus 3D printer in schools, local Chinese students will have access to leading desktop 3D scanning and printing technologies. “Our goal is to prepare the next generation of China’s workforce for the manufacturing industry of the future. We are very impressed with SMTCL, and their vision aligns well with ours. “The partnership with SMTCL expands our presence in the Asian market, and offers opportunities for co-development and collaboration going forward” said Jens Windau, AIO Robotics’ CEO.
