As Chief Executive Officer of German 3D printer manufacturer, Voxeljet; Ingo Ederer spoke with 3DPI about developments across the industry in Germany and how Voxeljet’s technology offering has been received at the Berlin show.
Question 1: What opportunities do you think this dedicated 3D printing event in Berlin brings to the German market?
It’s absolutely a nice show and it exceeds our expectations. The audience is great here, it’s an international audience interested in 3D Printing. And we are pretty happy to be here.
Question 2: How have you found the show and has it met your expectations?
As already mentioned it’s better than estimated, much better than estimated. It’s a great audience, a lot of interested people. Not just only the personal 3D Printer side but also our industrial applications. It’s a lot of questions and we’re happy to answer them.
Question 3: What sort of people have you met at Inside 3D Printing Berlin?
It’s an international community coming here, under various industries and private persons but more industry representatives than estimated. So I met personally a lot of people coming from automotive industries, I met people coming from construction and engineering and design, so various things. It’s really nice to see so many people interested in 3D Printing, and especially people we never met before.
