BCN3D are the makers of one the year’s most in demand 3D printers. A new 3D design competition from Autodesk and file-sharing platform MyMiniFactory, invites the 3D printing community to win a 3D printer.
Trick or treat
In the aptly named #TrickOrTreat3D competition, designers are challenged to create fun, 3D printable halloween content for a chance to win this professional desktop 3D printer.
Barcelona based BCN3D recently released their Sigma R17. The 3D printer has an independent dual extruder system allowing users to print two different materials, colors or even, two different prints at the same time.
This TinkerCAD Halloween competition is the second pairing between Autodesk and MyMiniFactory. It follows the recent API integration between Autodesk TinkerCAD and MyMiniFactory, allowing TinkerCAD users to share their designs to MyMiniFactory, making it easier for designers to show their work to millions of users each month.
To enter the competition follow this link to the competition page, read the brief, and follow the instructions. The basic rules say you must design your creation within Tinkercad and share to MyMiniFactory via the “share to MyMiniFactory” button. For more details on how to do this click here.
Designers are asked to share their creations once uploaded to MyMinIFactory to twitter to the hashtag #TrickOrTreat3D @MyMiniFactory @tinkercad @bcn3dtech.
Submissions close 24th October. So if you’re looking for a project for this weekend, now is the time.
