Snowbot – 3D Printed Snowflake Competition

Would you like to raise your holiday spirit with a chance to win a 3D printed snowflake — or the actual machine that makes it? It’s now possible if you’re a Brit — via a campaign called Snowbot — from English consultancy and marketing company 2020. The idea is simple – Snowbot keeps 3D printing snowflakes daily – and  the first person to tweet @2020Snowbot the Special Christmas Code Word found in the freshly 3D printed white Snowflake will win the respective flake.

What else do you need to know? Well, the rules are quite simple – first of all you need to be an English resident, the code changes with each printed snowflake, the tweet has to be direct (i.e. not a retweet) and contain the hashtag #2020Snowbot.

2020 is also offering a chance to win £100 for the chosen charity of  your choice, by spotting a rare — one of just five — golden 3D printed snowflakes and tweeting accordingly. Besides the immaterial social benefit the lucky winners will also receive their tweeted golden snowflake delivered to their homes – courtesy of WEARE 2020 & Snowbot.

The main prize however, is the machine itself – a Makerbot Replicator. Getting a chance to win this requires once again tweeting – @2020Snowbot with the hashtag #2020Snowbot and including a picture of your Snowbot created 3D printed snowflake or any other christmas ornament/decorative element of your choice. The winner of the grand prize will be announced early next year – on 2nd of January – but the draw closes on christmas eve at 5pm GMT.
