Polish SLS 3D printer manufacturer Sinterit has unveiled BIANCO2, a compact SLS system designed around open material compatibility and broad application flexibility. The announcement builds on over a decade of SLS development and an installed base spanning more than 80 countries.
The core proposition of BIANCO2 is its open architecture. Users gain access to up to 137 adjustable print parameters through Sinterit Studio Ultimate, and the platform accepts third-party materials alongside Sinterit’s own portfolio, covering technical, white, natural, and flexible material types. This positions the system toward users who require a higher degree of process control than closed SLS platforms typically allow, including material developers, academic researchers, and teams running specialized production workflows.

The machine operates with a sealed metal tube RF CO₂ laser source rated at 30W and over 20,000 hours, using a galvo scanner and a dedicated water chiller included in the package. The build volume for PA materials reaches 130×180×330 mm, with layer heights between 0.075 and 0.125 mm and build speeds of 15–30 mm per hour.
Parts produced on the platform are described by Sinterit as combining high mechanical performance, functional flexibility, and durability with an elegant surface finish, positioning output as suitable for end-use applications rather than purely prototyping.

A Decade of SLS Focus Behind the Design
Sinterit frames BIANCO2 as the product of direct customer feedback, developed in response to demand for greater material freedom within the compact SLS category. The company has concentrated solely on SLS since 2014, and positions that narrow focus as a differentiator, arguing that depth of expertise in a single technology yields more reliable outcomes and a shorter learning curve for new users.
Target sectors span a wide range: medical, dental, and orthotics; automotive and mobility; consumer product design; drones and defense; food-grade and certified applications; and architecture. The system is manufactured within the European Union, which Sinterit highlights as relevant to supply chain stability for spare parts and consumables.
