The Makie doll concept is continuing to grow and evolve and it is a joy to behold (that’s the mother and the kid in me talking)! Following the news of the customised dolls receiving the CE mark, the Makie phenomenon has just been made available as an iPad app by MakieLab and can be downloaded via iTunes. The Makies Doll Factory app is free of charge and allows anyone, of any age, to build their very own doll(s), give them names and styles, and subsequently, if you wish, have any one of them turned into an ACTUAL doll [production method: 3d printing] and then mailed directly to you.
