Leasing 3D Printers: Airwolf 3D Forms Alliance to Reduce Upfront Cash Payment

Airwolf 3D has officially teamed up with two of America’s leading leasing corporations to make their latest 3D printer models accessible to a wider audience. Airwolf 3D is teaming up with TimePayment Corporation, an equipment leasing company that focuses on transactions with a selling price as low as $500 up to $10,000, and Marlin Equipment, whose focus is on small to mid-size business commercial equipment leasing. Marlin and TimePayment will begin leasing Airwolf 3D’s top printers, thus reducing the pricey upfront cash payment for both the general public and businesses.

“After a lot of due diligence to find the proper partner, two financing companies stood out, TimePayment Corporation and Marlin Equipment Finance. Both of these companies excel in providing affordable financing products, have rapid credit approvals, and are committed to industry leading customer service. We are thrilled to be partnered with two companies that share Airwolf 3D’s vision for accelerating the proliferation of desktop 3D printing into mainstream commercial and personal-use markets,” said Mark Mathews, President of Airwolf 3D.

Interested? The process couldn’t be easier, within hours you could be the proud lessee of one of the top 3D printers on the market. The first step is to go to Airwolf 3D’s website and fill out the online application. Terms vary, ranging from 12 months to 60 months, whatever suits your personal or professional needs. Optimally, the whole process from application to approval can take less than a day.

Now, businesses and the public can choose a 3D printer that suits their creative vision and professional needs rather than just their finances. Multiple units and top of the line equipment are available to them without the upfront investment usually required.

“Our customers have been asking for a financing alternative, and we are pleased to be able to offer these financial products that make 3D printing more accessible,” said Mathews. “We expect both consumers and businesses will be very pleased with the addition of leasing to the Airwolf 3D offerings,” he continued.

This is the second such leasing partnership that Airwolf 3D has made, with the first happening between the firm and UK-based Hawk 3D Proto.  Recently, MakerBot also began offering a similar leasing deal for consumers and small businesses, through financing companies Affirm and Leaf. Now, the only question is: will other 3D printer companies follow suit?
