Ready for Inside 3D Printing Conference Singapore 2015?

Registration is now open for Singapore’s only yearly 3D Printing event Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo taking place January 27th to 28th at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. 3D Printing Industry is proud to once again be teaming up with MecklerMedia to co-produce the event. This is the second year for the 3D printing conference, and it is the leading trade show in the Asia-Pacific region with a focus on additive manufacturing and its related industries.

The Chinese market is finally warming up to 3D printing technology and there has been a steady increase in demand from consumers and industry alike. The Chinese government, major industry and many of the regions top universities have started to put their money where their mouths are and begun investing heavily in the emerging technology. Recently Nanyang Technological University launched a $30 million 3D printing research center devoted to exploring potential uses in construction and medical applications.

One of China’s largest semiconductor equipment manufacturers Ultra Clean Holdings will be opening the Singapore 3D Printing Center in early 2015 and will begin offering a wide variety of 3D printing services to customers in multiple industries. It isn’t just students and businesses that will have access to 3D printing either, a 3D printing service is being offered to residents at one of SingPost’s newest post offices with more locations to follow.

This year is shaping up to be just as big with major sponsorships and attendance commitments from Stratasys and Materialise.

The two-day conference will be kicked off with an opening keynote exploring the impact of 3D printing on the manufacturing sector in Singapore by Professor Chua Chee Kai, Director of the National Technological University’s Additive Manufacturing Center. There are also major speaking engagements lined up with 3D Systems VP and chief revenue officer Michele Marchesan, Extrudify founder Harsh Sanghvi and head of worldwide distribution for 3D scanner manufacturer Artec Group, Alexey Steblev.

Expo passes will be available for purchase on-site, however if you register and purchase your passes online ahead of time you’ll be able to save quite a bit of money.
