Inside 3D Printing Expo Heads to Chicago This July

Following on from the success of the inaugural Inside 3D Printing event in New York City in April, which attracted more than 3,000 attendees and industry leading exhibitors like MakerBot, Stratasys and 3D Systems, the summer edition of the show will take place in Chicago this coming July.

Even since Inside 3D Printing took place in April, 3D printing has continued to see exponential growth and received tremendous news coverage — good and bad — and as a result it has further piqued the interest and involvement of government officials.

The organisers of are therefore delighted that Congressman Bill Foster of the 11th Congressional District of Illinois will openly discuss digital manufacturing and its connection to policy, education and jobs at the upcoming Inside 3D Printing Conference on July 10-11 in Chicago. The summer event will also continue to build on its success and further bring together leading industry players, innovators, entrepreneurs and investors to discuss the impact of 3D printing on various fields.

Other presentation highlights at the conference include Scott Crump, Founder and Chairman of the Board at Stratasys Limited, Ralph L. Resnick, President & Executive Director of the National Center for Defense Manufacturing & Machining (NCDMM), and Cydni Tetro, Entrepreneur in Residence for Disney.

Speakers will tackle relevant industry topics, including Industrial Scale Additive Manufacturing Technologies, 3D Printing and the Future (or Demise) of Intellectual Property, and The Printed Athlete: How 3D Printing is Changing the Nature of Sports. View the full program here.
