Hospital Technician Tethers Cables & Saves Hospital Money with 3D Printing

In a hospital your vital signs are monitored through three separate cables. These cables are very important, so Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center has a cable guy, biomedical technician Steven Jaworski, whose tasks include replacing these cables. To prevent the cables from getting tangled, Steven uses cable tethers, but this creates extra costs for the hospital. To save some money Jaworski designed a tamperproof cable tether, 3D Printed with a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer.
