I wish these reporters would stop trying to incite fear into people and start reporting on the practicalities of 3D printing. But of course that would require the interviewer to actually do his homework (god forbid) and learn something about 3D printing before actually doing the interview.

is there any honest media information about this so called “miraculous new technology”? by honest I am talking about the down side as opposed to one-sided marketing.
what’s the downside? is it closer to bringing witchcraft and technology together? maybe it just malfunctions like Apple devices constantly do? does it use toxic materials to print with? what?
what is the honest absolute non-political side of this new technological toy? are they going to start helping people to print their own money now? will it aid in crimes or help solve them? what is this new miracle contraption and why is it so important to know about it? I am not impressed so far by just one sided media political hear-say and eager marketing. what benefit to human life is this or is there any true benefit at all or is it that it’s just some cool new toy and you want to make the person who made it feel better about creating yet another useless high tech toy in a sea of useless high tech toys that bring no real benefit to anyone? give me the truth.

and don’t try telling me that it can make kids smile. giving kids attention is all you need to make them smile. kids can smile with nothing but grass under their feet and sunshine on their faces. this is not a necessity for life. so what good is it at all? give me facts not opinions.
