Oceanz 3D printing

Headquartered in Ede, Oceanz was established with the aim of giving businesses across Europe access to additive manufacturing technologies. Within the automotive sector, the company has aided the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU Eindhoven) in the development of Noah the “world’s first circular car.”

Specifically, Oceanz used its proprietary material Oceanz ECO powder which consists of 100% recycled PA12 material to create the proof of concept components for this electric car. The parts were produced on the EOS P 760 system.

Prior to this, Oceanz aided Dutch fashion designer Maartje Dijkstra in the creation of the ‘Braindrain’ dress, which features 3D printed golden parts that resemble fins.

With the acquisition of Heijcon 3D Solutions, Oceanz can offer a wider range of services, including engineering , scale model and model building.
