Ahmed Arabi Hassen, Group Leader, Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Dr. Ahmed Arabi Hassen is the Group Leader for the Composites Innovation (CI) Group and an R&D Staff Scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He leads ORNL’s pioneering efforts in advanced manufacturing of molds and dies for the composites industry, driving innovations that are reshaping the U.S. tooling landscape. Dr. Hassen has been instrumental in creating a new market for additive manufacturing (AM) in the tooling sector by developing breakthrough technologies, including a new class of composite feedstock materials for large-scale AM systems. He bridges fundamental science and industry, partnering with U.S. companies to transfer innovations from the lab to commercial production. With 100+ publications, multiple patents, and a strong commercialization record, Dr. Hassen has earned three R&D 100 Awards and numerous technical honors.

Andrew Walker, CCO, Evove
Andrew has widespread international experience in the water sector and a variety of industries for which water is key. Formerly Global Communications Director at Siemens Water Technologies, Director of Communications at the International Water Association (IWA) and founder of Blue Gold Marketing, he describes himself as “addicted to water”. As Chief Commercial Officer of Evove, he leads engagement in key markets and takes care of clients, as well as being the brand custodian.

Adam Travis, Global AM Program Leader, Westinghouse Electric Company
Adam is responsible for developing and executing the global AM strategy at Westinghouse. In his role he leads a team of AM subject matter experts who deploy new AM products, processes, and suppliers for nuclear fuel and power plants. In his time at Westinghouse Adam has overseen the deployment of the first ever safety-related AM application to enter into serial production in the Commercial Nuclear industry. Adam obtained his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

Mark Douglass, Business Development, Lincoln Electric
Mark Douglass is the Business Development Manager for Lincoln Electric Additive Solutions, responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, strategic commercial and technical partnerships; previous to this role he was a member of Lincoln Electric’s strategy and M&A team. Prior to Lincoln Electric, he was sell-side equity analyst, focusing on industrial manufacturing technology companies. Preceding his Wall Street tenure, he was an advanced manufacturing engineer specializing in laser materials processing. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.

Bradley Pope, Project Manager: Nuclear Fuels/Additive Manufacturing, Westinghouse Electric
Brad works for Westinghouse Electric as a project manager supporting additive manufacturing projects within the nuclear fuels and manufacturing business units. AM has been a passion since 2000 working as an industrial model maker. His professional career has included titles of machinist, automated machine designer, project engineer, and R&D shop manager. He has worked in many industries including aerospace, medical, semiconductor, textiles, and automotive. The unique advantages of additive manufacturing have been tools to solve common problems that come up in design and production. Having the opportunity to be part of the industrial adoption within the energy sector has been rewarding.

Johannes Homa, CEO, Lithoz

Dr. Johannes Homa with extensive technical knowledge of additive manufacturing of high-performance ceramics. He holds a PhD in materials science and has worked in additive manufacturing since 2003.
In 2011, he co-founded Lithoz GmbH as a spin-off from the TU Vienna. As an expert in ceramic AM, Dr. Homa has written many publications and is also co-inventor of a number of patents in the field. In addition to his role in the company, he has been active as lecturer in various educational establishments and universities since 2006.
He is also founder of the initiative AM Austria and the technical director of the Austrian 3D Printing Forum.

Joel Sam, Business Development Manager – Metals, EOS
Joel Sam works as part of the EOS Additive Minds team as a Business Development Manager focused on metal additive manufacturing applications. With a consistent focus on metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), Joel has worked as a materials scientist, mechanical designer, proposal writer, manufacturing engineer, and applications engineer, and he is passionate about using that wide range of experiences to grow the potential of AM in new industrial sectors.
In his current role, Joel educates customers about the EOS LPBF process, machines, and materials, as well as on topics such as design principles and post-processing. He also helps onboard customers to Additive Minds consulting projects for benchmarking and process development. Formerly, Joel worked as a Process and Manufacturing Engineer for Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, where he served as a materials science consultant and applications engineer for LPBF part production on EOS machines.

Pål Svanes, CEO, Stamas Solutions AS
Pål Svanes is CEO of Stamas Solutions, a Norwegian industrial company driving innovation at the intersection of advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and digital transformation. With a background in business development and leadership across the energy, defense, and manufacturing sectors, Pål is a strong advocate for leveraging Additive Manufacturing (AM) and On-Demand production to modernize supply chains and unlock new industrial value

Guillaume de Calan, CEO, NANOE
Guillaume de Calan is the co-founder and CEO of Nanoe, a leading supplier of high tech raw materials for the ceramic industry. He created the company during his engineering studies in France at Ecole Centrale, as a spin off from Centrale’s laboratories. He has since transformed Nanoe from a startup to a renowned European ceramic raw material provider.
Through the brand Zetamix, he launched the first line of filaments for accessible 3D printing of ceramic and metal parts, and Zetamix Epsilon, a line of high permittivity dielectric filaments for RF and microwave applications.

Moataz Attallah, Dean of School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical, and Materials Engineering, Loughborough University
Professor Moataz Attallah is an expert in metal additive manufacturing, with over 15 years’ experience in studying laser-based additive manufacturing, post-processing strategies, and novel applications of metal additive manufacturing in the aerospace, nuclear, defence, motor racing, space, and telecommunications sectors. He sits on the advisory board and provides consultancy to companies and universities in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. He co-authored over 250 scientific reports and 3 book chapters, as well as being a co-inventor on 5 granted patents.

Kate Black, CEO, Atomik AM
Professor Kate Black FREng is the Founder and CEO of Atomik AM, an advanced manufacturing company developing sustainable, materials-led technologies for binder jet printing. Under her leadership, Atomik has secured investment, expanded its team, and delivered patented innovations across multiple industrial sectors.
She is also Professor of Manufacturing at the University of Liverpool, where her research focuses on functional materials for advanced printing, particularly metals and ceramics. She earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science from the same institution and held a postdoctoral role at the University of Cambridge.
Named one of the “Top 50 Women in Engineering” and recipient of the Academic Entrepreneur Award in 2022, she was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2024 for her contributions to innovation and leadership in STEM.

Espen Sivertsen, CEO, Ivaldi Group
Espen Sivertsen is the founder and CEO of Ivaldi Group, where he’s spent the last eight years trying to wean heavy industry off its expensive addiction to warehouses full of “just-in-case”. He’s hunted spare parts through engine rooms in Singapore, dumpsters in Norway, and mines off the coast of Namibia -all to prove a wild idea: that sending files is faster, cheaper, and better than shipping boxed metal across the planet. Prior to Ivaldi, Espen Co-Founded the San Francisco based desktop FDM manufacturer Type A Machines in 2012 and served as CEO from 2013-2016. With a background in psychology and project management (courtesy of the KaosPilots), he once helped spot and name tech trends at iLab, launched Denmark’s first Arduino retailer, and somehow managed to live in more countries than Marco Polo. He now resides somewhere between industrial disruption and family life, depending on the day.

Adam Penna, Director of Sales and Marketing, Skuld LLC
Adam Penna’s passion for 3D printing and advancing manufacturing stems from his background in CAD/CAM mechanical design, metrology, engineering, customer success, and business development. He has worked with leading companies and organizations in the automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors, such as FARO, EOS, SME, and ASME. He has also obtained multiple certifications and a MBA degree in technology and leadership. Adam enjoys learning from and collaborating with experts, innovators, and educators in the field, and sharing their insights and stories with a global audience. Currently he is helping customers achieve more affordable metal castings with improved surfaces and geometry utilizing 3D printing as Director of Sales and Marketing at Skuld LLC.

Thomas Rees, Innovation Lead, ToffeeX
Thomas leads technical R&D at ToffeeX. He is an aerospace engineer specialized in aerodynamics, heat transfer, and optimization.

Jeremy Faludi, Assistant Professor, TU Delft
Jeremy Faludi teaches and researches sustainable design engineering at TU Delft. He has also taught at Stanford, Dartmouth, and elsewhere. He wrote the OECD’s recommendations for green 3D printing policy in 2017, the Additive Manufacturing Green Trade Association’s first paper in 2019, and has worked with three printer manufacturers to measure and improve their environmental impacts. He recently released a new textbook, Sustainable Design from Vision to Action.

Pierre Farge, European Sales Manager, Elementum 3D
Pierre Farge is currently European Sales Manager at Elementum 3D, a leading developer of enhanced metal additive manufacturing (AM) powders, 3d printing powder, delivering next-generation, high-performance, alloyed materials, and parameters for diverse printer processes. He has some business development activities at Saturne Technology, a leader SME in Europe that makes Metal 3D Printed added value parts for Aerospace and Defense. He was Business Development Manager at Aquitaine Science Transfert (SATT Aquitaine) where he cultivates research partnerships between industrial end users and R&D laboratories in additive layer manufacturing. Prior to this role, Pierre was Sales Director with Application Electroniques et Techniques in March 2015, and he is an ad hoc consultant with CTIF research and development academy since June 2015. Until February 2015 he was the Sales Manager at Fives. His current focus materials are Inconel, Aluminum and Stainless Steel.

Cassidy Silbernagel, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Exergy Solutions
Dr. Cassidy Silbernagel, P.Eng., is an internationally recognized leader in advanced and additive manufacturing, mechanical design (including Design for AM), and AM strategy. With over 15 years spanning CNC machining, R&D, product development, and scaled production, he merges engineering with emerging technologies such as computational and AI-driven design. As Head of AM Engineering at Exergy Solutions, Cassidy leads cross-disciplinary teams delivering high-performance, manufacturable solutions for energy, cleantech, and industrial clients. His work includes metal 3D printing for electric motors, thermoelectric generators, and the award-winning TrackTopper. A two-time Additive World DfAM Challenge winner and highly cited PhD researcher from the University of Nottingham, he has presented at RAPID+TCT, Formnext, and the Global Energy Show. Known for transforming complex challenges into elegant, scalable designs, Cassidy bridges prototypes to scaled production to accelerate innovation.

Stephan Galozy, Chief Product Officer, 3YOURMIND
Stephan Galozy leads product strategy at 3YOURMIND, driving innovation in on‑demand manufacturing software that helps organizations identify high‑value parts, digitize inventories, and build secure distributed production networks. With over 15 years in product engineering and software development, he works closely with customers to turn complexity into clarity—delivering targeted solutions that unlock operational efficiencies and accelerate the adoption of advanced manufacturing.

Robert Rettew, Principal Advisor, The Barnes Global Advisors
Robert Rettew is an expert materials engineer with extensive experience in additive manufacturing and the energy industry. During his recent tenure at Chevron he served as the additive manufacturing program manager, shaping multinational technology plans, leading local adoption teams, and qualifying safety critical additive manufacturing applications. He has held roles as chairperson for various technical committees and working groups at American Petroleum Institute, where he focused on acceleration of game-changing technology applications. He holds a Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology and has published numerous original research articles on subjects ranging from qualification of large-scale industrial applications for wire-arc additive manufacturing, to advanced composite oil & gas pipeline repair systems, to nanotechnology for renewable energy.

Rocco Lupoi, Professor in Advanced and Additive Manufacturing, Trinity College Dublin
Rocco graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin (2004) and completed a PhD at the University of Bath (2008), with his research featured on the cover of EUREKA magazine. In 2008, He joined Cambridge University as a postdoctoral researcher, pioneering work in Additive Manufacturing. He has published key papers, filed a patent, and co-founded Laser Fusion Tech to commercialize his innovations.
In 2012, he became Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin, where he built his research group. He received a Marie Curie Fellowship (2013) and a major European Space Agency grant (2014), the first of its kind awarded to a Trinity PI. He now serves as a funded investigator in AMBER and I-Form, and is an Associate Member of CIRP.
He was elected Fellow of Trinity College Dublin (2019) and FIMMM (2022). According to Stanford/Elsevier (2023), Rocco ranks among the top 2% of scientists globally.

Tarun Chand, Technical Sales Specialist, Addept3D
Tarun is a Technical Sales Specialist for Addept3D, a leading WAAM – DED solutions provider in Singapore and is responsible for leading sales, application consulting and project management functions.
His experience has focused on technical advisory and qualifying various AM technologies for a wide variety of novel critical applications in the Energy, Marine and Defence sectors.
He is also part of the AM Energy Network a global collaborative Nonprofit organization established by a coalition of leading companies in the Energy Sector, dedicated to fostering collaboration and advancing applications using AM in the energy sector.

Abedin Gagani, Business Development Manager – Europe, Pelagus 3D
Abedin Gagani, PhD, is a business development manager at Pelagus 3D, where he leads the advancement of on-demand manufacturing and digital inventory solutions.
With a background in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in composite materials, Abedin has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles and technical papers.
He has held various engineering and business development roles in Airbus, Ferrari, Siemens and 1000 Kelvin, before joining Pelagus 3D.

Yash Bandari, Director of Business Development, Fastech LLC
Yash Bandari works at Fastech LLC as the Director of Business Development. Yash is an internationally recognized manufacturing professional with more than fourteen (14) years of experience in metal 3D printing, especially in Directed Energy Deposition (DED) processes. He specializes in business development and commercialization of new products. He is one of the few individuals in the world to have experience with all the three (3) heat sources (arc, laser, and electron beam) in Additive Manufacturing at reputed organizations in the US, UK, and India before turning 30. At Fastech, he is responsible for planning, identifying, prospecting, qualifying and closing new business opportunities. He published several articles, chaired various conferences, and gave numerous talks on AM. He actively participates in ASTM F42 committee and in ASM International emerging technologies committee. He has also helped draft ASTM and BSI standards on DED and WAAM.

Sougata Roy, Assistant Professor, Iowa State University
Dr. Sougata Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and ‘Building a World of Difference Faculty Fellow’ at Iowa State University. He has received multiple projects funded by federal agencies such as DoD, DOE, NSF, NASA, and USDA in the fields of multiscale metal additive manufacturing, advanced materials processing, surface engineering and tribology. Dr. Roy received ‘FY 2023 Distinguished Early Career Award’ from US Department of Energy. He is the recipient of ‘Frontiers of Materials Award (2026)’ and ‘Young Leaders Professional Development Award (2024)’ both from Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS), ‘Early Career Award (2025)’ from the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE), and ‘EPSCoR Research Fellowship (2023)’ from National Science Foundation. From additive manufacturing for energy perspective, he is leading two major projects supported by US DOE focused on tungsten and FeCrAl alloy for nuclear energy application.

Charlie Clark, Technical Sales Manager, 3DCeram
Charlie is the Technical Sales Manager for 3DCeram, and the Area Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland as well as Australia & New Zealand, having previously worked as a Research & Development Engineer at the company.
Soon after joining 3DCeram, following on from his master’s degree in the science and engineering of materials obtained from the University of Limoges, Charlie worked on the development of new materials, new machines, and the printing of benchmark parts to showcase 3DCeram’s SLA capabilities. Now he’s turned his attention to working with customers on developing their projects, and adopting AM for their own benefit.
