STEM Trainer at 3Dexter Education Private Limited, India

3Dexter, launched in 2015 by a group of seven school friends, is seeking to bring 3D printing to the core of India’s education curriculum. As such, the company is looking to hire a graduate to join its team as a STEM Trainer.

As a STEM trainer, the successful candidate will help 3Dexter create and convey content for 3D printing and design in different schools and colleges. The role will concern the training of students from educational institutions, working on different science and engineering research projects. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communications skills, an eye for design, and capable analytical skills.

Senior PHP Web Developer at Simplify3D, USA

3D printer slicing software provider Simplify3D is on the lookout for a seasoned web developer to join its team in Cincinnati.  With specific expertise in PHP, the successful candidate will be challenged to build web applications for the company. Key responsibilities include a proactive involvement in all corners of the web application life cycle (from initial concept and deployment), down to updates and optimization of application components.

Simplify3D specifies that the candidate possesses experience in full LAMP stack development and hosting, as well as 5 years experience of web development with OOP, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. A further minimum of 3 years experience using Laravel or a similar PHP MVC framework is required, alongside a familiarity with different data storage methods like NoSQL.

Software Engineer at Blockchain Developer at Assembrix, Israel

There are two new positions available at Israeli software company Assembrix. The company’s technology centers around a cloud-based platform designed for industrial 3D printing. For the first vacancy, Assembrix is pursuing a software engineer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data-flow models in the additive manufacturing digital thread. Ideally, applicants should have completed a BSc degree or higher in the field of Computer Science, or a similar subject. Furthermore, the candidate should possesses excellent coding skills, with a minimum of 3 years experience developing data-extensive software with JavaScript, NodeJS, JSON, and Git. Applicants with experience using document-oriented and structured databases will have an advantage over others.

The second job listing available at Assembrix concerns a Blockchain developer role. Similar to the previous listing, the main responsibility of the role will be creating and applying smart contracts and distributing control for the additive manufacturing digital thread. Assembrix is once more looking for a candidate with a BSc degree in Computer Science or similar, as well as 3 years experience developing web applications based on NodeJS, ExpressJS, JSON, and Git code. Knowledge of private blockchain, encryption and authorization processes is essential, as well as an ability to establish smart contracts on dynamic data models.

Sensor Electronics Engineer for Metals Additive Manufacturing at Pennsylvania State University, USA

The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at the Pennsylvania State University (PSU) is is currently searching for a Sensor Electronics Engineer for metal additive manufacturing. Located in Happy Valley, State College, the Sensor Electronics Engineer will join PSU’s Process Physics, Analytics, and Engineering Department.

Tasks for this role include conducting research and development for metal additive manufacturing within a range of technology and manufacturing readiness levels. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Science and Mechanics is required for the role, and a Master’s degree is preferred.

Applicants with previous experience in the additive manufacturing industry, and a solid understanding using real-time and/or FPGA Programming, will be considered a plus.

PSU has specified that applicants must be U.S. citizens. All will be subject to a government security investigation if considered for the role.
