The nomination period for the 1st Annual 3D Printing Industry Awards is still open we have been overwhelmed with the response. Here is an update on some of the popular choices our readers have made so far. And remember, it’s not too late to make your own nomination.
Industrial 3D printer of the year
In the industrial 3D printer category we have seen nominations for the HP Multi Jet Fusion 3200, the Carbon M1 3D printer, and the EOS M290. We’ve also had nominations for the Mcor ARKe, Stratasys Fortus 450 and Stratasys J750. Make your nominations here.
Industrial 3D printing company of the year
In the industrial 3D printing company of the year category, nominees include, EnvisionTEC, BigREP, MCor, Stratasys, HP, WASP, and Nano Dimension. British manufacturers Renishaw have received several nominations. The company recently hosted the British Prime Minister Theresa May. Desktop 3D printing company of the year
In the desktop 3D printer category, we have seen nominations for Formlabs and their Form 2, Zortrax, MakerBot, Ultimaker, Hawk 3D and Robo 3D. Polish 3D printers ZMorph and Nano Dimension also receiving nominations for their Dragonfly 2020. Tevo, Prusa Research, Aleph Objects, BCN3D, Afina and many others have received nominations. Nominations for our reader’s favorite 3D printing material of the year include DWS DL260, Formlabs Tough Resin and Makerbot’s Tough PLA. Stratasys’ aerospace-grade thermoplastic ULTEM received nominations, in addition to Porcelite by Tethon 3D.
