3D Printing Enters Australian Office Supply Chain Officeworks

While US office supply chain Staples has been providing 3D printing services for some time in the US and Europe, the Australian equivalent, Officeworks, is just beginning to offer its own such services. Starting June 15, the office supply chain will be providing 3D printing services to its Victoria customers.

Beginning in the Melbourne location on Russell Street, Officeworks will allow customers to bring their 3D printable models to have them 3D printed in a wide range of materials, colors, and sizes via Australian 3D printing company Keech3D, which provides Stratasys FDM and PolyJet, as well as Mcor paper, 3D printing. Additionally, the Russell Street store will host a full-sized 3D scanning booth, its 3D Experience Centre, for the production of 3D printed shelfies. If the pilot in Melbourne goes well, the company plans to expand 3D printing services to further stores across the region.
