3D Printing:
Destiny, Doom or Dream?

This is the title of a two-day conference organized by elaw@leiden scheduled to take place
14-15 November 2013, in Leiden in The Netherlands.

Following the increased media attention around 3D printing technology, this event team aims to build an event that will explore 3D printing to discover whether it is a myth, hype, or a reality by posing social, ethical, regulatory and legal questions. The result of the two-day, bi-annual conference will hopefully draw, at least some, satisfactory conclusions that will be shared.

Accordingly the aim of the conference is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for experts in law, political science and policy studies, economics, business science, philosophy and science and technology and elaw@leiden is currently calling for presentations concerning these issues. More information for interested parties can be found on the conference website.
