I’ve spent some time looking through the report, and I’m having a hard time getting behind some of the data (perhaps I’m just not looking at it the right way) – am I to believe that, since 1990, 3D Systems (a company that claims to hold 1100+ patents and patent applications) only has 39 patents?

And that “stereolithography is the most widely used technology across all material types” including ceramic, aluminum, titanium and other metals?

While its entirely possible that some key research elements of the report aren’t being expressed in the text to account for some of these discrepancies, a lot of this just doesn’t sound…..plausible.
