3D Printing Human Anatomy
There are various well-documented applications for utilising 3D printing in the medical sector, and I have no doubt that more will come in the future. It is always great to read how this sector develops, particularly the impact it has on people’s lives, but from the hobbyist point of view many medical applications require either a high skill level, an understanding of medical science or very costly 3D printers to produce medical grade parts, or, a combination of all of the above.

The designer modelled an anatomical heart off of a scientific website in sculpy and scanned it to create a 3D digital model. Due to the unique shape and variety of forms on each side, there were very few problems editing it for 3D printing.
